Patented clothes to help women with body changes

Help women not to lose self-esteem when their body changes and a dress becomes too tight or too loose, by adding or removing fabric. It is the idea patented by the Neapolitan fashion designer and entrepreneur Carmen Sollo who created a line with zips and fabrics entitled "Add & Remove".
Trousers, jackets, skirts and other types of garments that adapt to body changes. How does it work? The clothes are built according to a modular criterion. They are made in bands which, thanks to zips, can be added, in case you gain weight, or can be eliminated, for example, in cases of weight loss due to excessive stress. "Add & Remove", a brand born from the Dressi J brand, "aims to be a response to the dissatisfaction that many women feel with their bodies, due to the unrealistic ideals and standards of beauty transmitted by the mass media" explains Sollo.
The idea follows the principles of various research according to which acting on the perceptive aspects of body image helps women to positively change the consideration they have of themselves, improving their social relationships. In this way, the brand aims to create garments capable of easily adapting to the changes in women's bodies: "Our idea is to allow women to wear a garment that adapts to their body. Improving possible defects - excessive thinness or overweight - there is an improvement in self-perception and consequently also a growth in self-esteem and self-confidence" says the designer, founder of Dressi J. Attention is also paid to the issue of sustainability: thanks to the system of modular garments the brand aims to be a response to fast fashion.
